I do appreciate your taking the time on this matter, and your knowledge having owned, used, and your history of parts tested on these machines! So your saying.I'm worrying needlessly.is easy for you to say lol while I'm piling up tires, along with cash!! I have read many times that too heavy a tire, where you would need a clutch kit, to keep from burning out clutch with too heavy a tire for rears! I'm new to UTV's and have over 10k in this new ride, just over 100 miles on, so yes I'm very concerned with keeping it in good health for many years to come! of both tires side by side for comparison. ![]() Here's the picture of rim that was used with both tires! I still have the Mars tires on same rims, but installed on front, they still are the 26'' height, and they seem to work well for 9'' for front tires! Here's also a pic. Well the same 2 tires were on the same rim! Your asking me to repeat myself! The mars tires were supposed to be 11'' but measured 9'', I can prove this with my tape measure, and by other reviews stating their small manufactured size, and ''like i already said'' just quoting you lol trying to add a little humor to my agonizing plight for the right tire for the right occasion! lol I figured by ordering !2'' tires they would be closer to 11'' but the Spartacus are exactly 12'' and extremely HEAVY!! copied/paste this. Now I have 2 new sets of tires, with totally different sizes, using same rims, so rims are not to blame! ![]() I already posted this yesterday on my third post. They blow up when adding air/ shred easily!Įxtremely heavy and only 12'' W, not 11'' as needed, I have these mounted for rear tires now, look good, work well for plowing snow, but I'm afraid while riding fast and long trips, out most of the day, they'll mess with clutch/belts! They are much smaller than the stock tires I was replacing. I thought I was getting a great deal on a pair of 25x10x12 tires until I got them mounted. Run heavy about 30#'s, compared to other lite brands. Not even close to 26 inches tall as advertised. One Star also i bought 26x11x12 and the accual height of the tire is 24.5" at 5psi. Maxxis Zilla ATV Tires 26-11-12 MZ41100 23.3 # 1.19480 $101.90įorget about these tires! I just read reviewģ miles into the first ride with these tires one popped on a gravel trail no sticks no sharp rocks just class 5 gravel. Here's a few tire brands, that I was considering, but not true to size or other problems
